Description

This project revolved around a collaboration, under the AI Iværksætterindsats initiative, between DTU and the company Sani Nudge.
The company provides an automatic electronic hand hygiene monitoring system to hospitals where they continuously record the staff's hand hygiene through several sensors. The purpose of the collaboration with DTU was to make an "explorative" analysis of hand hygiene behavior in hospitals based on the sensor data.
Throughout the project, we focused on analyzing the hand hygiene behavior of nurses based on both descriptive and mathematical methods. Regarding the latter, we employed both a cluster analysis (to classify nurses according to how much time they spend in each room) and a logistic regression with mixed effects to validate the significance of the effects that we investigated in the first part of the project.
