Current research and teaching interests include microwave and millimeter-wave sensing for biomedical and security applications; microwave and millimeter-wave components and integrated circuits for instrumentation applications; antennas and passive circuit design and characterization; magnetic resonance technology.

Expertise

The research area falls mainly within applied electromagnetics. The constantly growing research and teaching activity includes: interaction of electromagnetic waves with biological systems; microwave sensing for biomedical and security applications; microwave imaging and radar systems as well as related algorithms and data processing; microwave and millimeter wave devices and integrated circuits for instrumentation applications; antenna and passive circuit design and testing; design of microelectronic and nanotechnology components; electromagnetic metamaterials.
