Personal profile

Profile

I am part of the research group Microbial Food Safety.

My research areas fall within quantitative aspects of food preservation, food safety and food hygiene. In particular, inactivation, survival and growth of food-borne pathogens have my interest. Within the research area of predictive food modelling, my experience covers development and validation of models as well as concepts for the application of models in practical examples of HACCP, risk assessment and outbreak investigation.
