Originally trained as an architect, Tim has worked on projects at a variety of high profile architecture practices including Foster + Partners in London, ONL [Oosterhuis_Lénárd] in Rotterdam and as a researcher at the Hyperbody Research Group at TU Delft. In 2013, he gained his Engineering Doctorate from Reading University. He has taught internationally and is currently an Associate Professor in Building Design at the Technical University of Denmark.

Tim's research investigates the augmentation of human design processes with models from computaitonal science and developmental biology. It incorporates advanced design and fabrication technologies to address the intergalactic challenges designers will face in the 21st Century. In his previous role at the University of South Australia Tim co-founded the Morphogenetic Prototyping Lab and Agile X Research Group.

Tim has worked in the UK, Netherlands, Australia and most recently in Denmark. His network is international and enojys working with exisitng and new partners and discovering new knowledge and places.
