- Investigation of Danish seines regarding selectivity, bycatches and discards, interactions with benthic and demersal fauna including sea bottom impacts and a scientific process description

- Estimation and reduction of bycatches and discards in active and passive gears used in the Baltic Sea and assessment of potential gear alternatives


- Participation in 13 sea cruises (from day trips up to 4 weeks) on commercial and research vessel (3 as cruise leader)

- Participation in several fisheries- and statistics related courses on Master´s as well as PhD level (Aquatic animal welfare, Data handling using R, Fish capture technology, Fisheries ecology, Trawl technology, Underwater acoustics)
