2006/2009Ph.D course. Deposition and characterization of ultra thin films, heterostructures and superlattices, with a low interfacial disorder, by Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) equipped with in situ RHEED diagnostic and using X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique.)Oxide materials were used as building modules for the growth of artificial superlatticeswith the aim of assembling novel materials and heterostructures for Micro Solid Oxide Fuel Cells applications. Study of thin films and heterostructures based on superconductors and magnetic materials for electronic and spintronic device applications.

 

2003/2006Experimental sessions at the Beam Line of APE and VUV synchrotron in Trieste 'Elettra', study of the adsorption of chiral molecules on a copper crystal with synchrotron radiation and scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). Experience at the Institute of Structure of Matter of Tor Vergata (Rome) on superconducting materials and organic molecules self-organized on copper crystal surfaces with x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Scanning Tunneling Microscopy techniques.
