Personal profile


I am interested in supporting the integration of the urban water cycle into the general urban planning process with modelling tools. In this context, I currently strongly focus on the assessment of flood risk and the testing of flood adaptation options in various potential urban developments and climate scenarios. I apply both, detailed and statistical modelling techniques and I have experience with time series techniques for short-term forecasting from my PhD and previous projects on controlling urban drainage systems.

My current work is part of the WaterSmartCities project (WSC, Innovationsfonden, Denmark) and the CRC for Water Sensitive Cities (Melbourne, Australia).
