  • nonlinear control and observer design
  • nonlinear adaptive control with particular focus on adaptive backstepping and L1 adaptive control
  • model based and data driven fault diagnosis

My main application areas are

  • marine crafts
  • unmanned vehicles (UAVs and USVs)
  • energy harvesting systems
