Tsapekos Panagiotis, PhD, has expertise in biofuels production, optimization of the anaerobic digestion process and sustainable solutions in the area of ​​residual resource engineering. Interests circle around: biorefineries, organic waste and wastewater treatment, anaerobic digestion, biogas upgrading, fermentation (single cell protein, succinic and lactic acid), bioaugmentation and adaptation, nutrient recovery, process monitoring and pilot operation.
