Since 1996 Ole Rathmann has worked with prediction and modelling of wind resources and wind conditions. Within this field he has contributed to the continued development of commercial wind resource software (WAsP) within terrain description, wake modelling and wind data analysis incl. extreme wind predictions. In addition he has acted as instructor at numerous wind resource courses for professionals in the wind energy industry and as examiner at wind resource software certification exams.
