My area of interest concern construction materials in general and their physical and chemical properties. My research activities include the following subjects:

- deformation stability (shrinkage and cracking) of concrete

- curing of concrete

- ultra-high strength concrete

- hydration kinetics, i.e. the hardening reactions of concrete

- self-desiccation of concrete
