Nils Thonemann is a PostDoc in the section of Quantitative Sustainability Assessment, with a focus on methodological development and application of prospective life cycle assessment (LCA). The main research areas/interests are:
- Prospective environmental sustainability assessment of emerging technologies, e.g., processes
- Environmental footprinting of products and systems
- Application of LCA to various domains/sectors, including carbon capture and use technologies, aeronautics, plastics, etc.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
