Manufacturing tribology: Testing and modelling of friction, lubrication and wear in metal forming. Solid phase welding: Analysis and modelling of bond formation in cold welding. Resistance welding: Spot welding and projection welding of complex geometries and material combinations. Numerical modelling of resistance welding. Testing of resistance welding machines.
