Murat Kulahci is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science,at the Technical University of Denmark and a Professor in the Department of Business Administration, Technology and Social Sciences at Luleå University of Technology in Sweden. His research focuses on design of physical and computer experiments, statistical process control, time series analysis and forecasting, and financial engineering. His current research is primarily on large data analytics for descriptive, inferential and predictive purposes. Many of his research applications involve high dimensional, high frequency data demanding analysis methods in chemometrics and machine learning. He has been collaborating with various industries in many Big Data projects and digital manufacturing. He has more than 80 refereed journal articles and 2 books on time series analysis and forecasting.
