Research areas

My research interests focused on district energy systems and HVAC systems. I have a solid background modelling innovative solutions to simulate multi-vector systems, integrating heating, cooling, electricity and gas networks. I developed independent research work investigating HVAC system design, operation and service, assessing the capability of existing buildings to be connected to the future 4th generation district heating. I have established solid collaborations with both academia and industry, coordinating IEA international projects as sub-task leader and member participant.
