Maria Faragó is a PhD student at the Department of Environmental Engineering of the Technical University of Denmark. She has been working within the field of sustainability assessment of urban water systems, applying in particular carbon footprint evaluations, life cycle assessment and the eco-efficiency methodology. Her PhD project specifically focuses on the quantification of environmental and socio-economic impacts of water and wastewater resource recovery facilities. The project is in collaboration with the Danish water utilities Aarhus Vand, BIOFOS, and VandCenter Syd.
