Profile

Laila Zwisler is a university historian and principal curator of the historical collection of DTU. Her work combines historical collections, research and interpretation. Her main areas of interest are technical academia, technoscience, engineering, knowledge and academic heritage. As the Head of History of Technology DTU she is responsible for collecting and caring - physically and intellectually - for the historical artefacts and archivals of DTU. Her recent projects have focused on co-creation, hidden curriculums, knowledge as cultures and deconstruction of dominant narratives. As vice-president for the UNIVERSEUM network she works for strengthening academic and technical history and heritage on European level.
