Astrophysicist at the National Space Institute, Technical University of Denmark (aka DTU Space).

Team member of the JEM-X instrument onboard the ESA satellite INTEGRAL.

Member of the NuSTAR science team (X-ray binaries).

Member of the NICER Science Team.

Danish representative for the EU COST action PHAROS and former member of NewCOMPSTAR.

Current main research activities: Analysis of the high energy emission from compact objects in low-mass X-ray binaries. Observational and theoretical studies of thermonuclear X-ray bursts from neutron stars.

Lecturer for diverse courses. Responsible of the DTU courses "Astrofysik" (30120), "Observational X-ray Astrophysics" (30790), and "Hands-on X-ray astronomy data analysis" (30792).

Member of the Binary Science Team for NuSTAR, a NASA satellite launched in 2012.

Member of the Science Team for NICER, a NASA mission to observe neutron stars in 2017.

Partner in a number of scientific collaborations and observation proposals.
