Main research is devoted to design, conduct and analysis of the Danish National Survey of Dietary Habits and Physical Activity. Moreover, development, feasibility and validation of methods for measuring physical activity, dietary intake and anthropometry in population studies. Furthermore to examine associations between dietary habits, physical activity and overweight in the Danish population, including time trends.

Advisory tasks deal with evaluation of products for sports nutrition. In addition, advisory tasks focus on assessment of dietary intake, physical activity and overweight in the population in relation to nutrition recommendations and dietary guidelines. Advisory tasks also include participation in theNordic working within several areas of expertise.
