Min forskning vedrører hovedsageligt udvikling af metoder til analyse af strømninger og strømningsmaskiner. Det væsentligste anvendelsesområde er indenfor optimering og analyse af vindmøller, både med hensyn til vingernes aerodynamik og vindmølleplacering. Andre forskningsområder vedrører hydrodynamisk instabilitet af roterende strømninger og opblanding af væsker i bio-reaktorer. Derudover er jeg medansvarlig for DTU's internationale M.Sc. program i vindenergi og leder af forskerskolen DAWE (Danish Academy in Wind Energy).
