Personal profile

My work focuses on understanding, designing and implementing enabling frameworks for the dissemination of sustainable energy and climate change mitigation technologies, using multi-criteria, economic baselines, market assessments and outcome mapping methodologies. I have been involved in the global Technology Needs Assessment project since 2010, as a country coordinator. My in-country working experience (research, consultancy, project implementation) includes Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Ghana, Grenada, Moldova, Nepal, Nicaragua, Peru, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Zambia. Prior to joining UDP I had a lectureship in Sustainable Development at the University of Reading (UK), conducted research into the politics and social conflict surrounding the development of oil and gas in the Peruvian Amazon (2009-2010) and worked in the private sector providing non-financial risk assessments for extractive companies operating in less developed countries (2007-2008).
