Jakob Eg Larsen, PhD is Associate Professor at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Dept. of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science (DTU Compute) in the Cognitive Systems Section where he heads the Mobile Informatics and Personal Data Laboratory (MILAB). His research interests include Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Personal Data Interaction, Information Visualization, and Personal Informatics / Quantified Self. He teaches courses in the Digital Media Engineering MSc program on topics including human computer interaction, mobile/wearable application prototyping, personal informatics, and user experience. He received his PhD (2005) from the Technical University of Denmark and his MSc in Computer Science (1999) University of Copenhagen, Dept. of Computer Science and human computer interaction and cognitive psychology from University of Copenhagen, Dept. of Psychology.
