Personal profile

Profile

I am interested in the fate of chemicals in water treatment processes. This range from describing the occurence and transformation of chemicals with chemical analysis and bioassays to targeted treatment for chemicals including optimised biofilters and ozonation as well as novel treatment chemicals like organic peroxides. Additionally I am interested in by-products profiles of chemical water treatments, presently mainly from swimming pool chlorination, wastewater ozonation and disinfection.
