PhD: "Decision Support System for managing water resources in mixed land use catchment"

My PhD aims at developing new models for the management of stream water resources, both quantitatively and qualitatively using System Dynamics methodology. These models should link water quantity and quality process and applicable to the impact associated to mixed land use. My Main focuses are on the interaction between ground and surface water, temporal and seasonal variations of contaminant release, general dynamics of contaminant fluxes and interaction within stream systems.

In the previous years, I worked as a research assistant where I worked on contaminant mass discharge calculation and analytical modelling for the estimation of contaminant mixing in streams.
