Accepting PhD Students
Felix Trier is a Senior Researcher (Associate Professor) in the research section ‘Functional Oxides’ at the Department of Energy Conversion and Storage, Technical University of Denmark (DTU), where he leads the activities on oxide spintronics. During his career, he has made several major discoveries relating to the electronic conduction at confined oxide heterointerfaces. His contributions can be grouped in three different areas:
Moreover, he is shared first-author of 2 invited reviews on the topic of SrTiO3-based 2DEGs (F. Trier et al., Journal of Physics D 51, 293002 (2018); D.V. Christensen, F. Trier et al., Advanced Materials Interfaces 6, 1900772 (2019)) and 1 invited review on oxide spin-orbitronics (F. Trier et al. Nature Reviews Materials 7, 258 (2022)).
