Research Interests
Organic chemistry, particularly stereoselective organic synthesis. Total synthesis of natural products. Organometallic chemistry and catalysis.

Publications
110 papers in international, peer-reviewed journals, 2 book chapters, with a total of 2970 citations (March 2009; h-index 30).

Research Supervision  
Supervisor or co-supervisor for 28 finalized Ph. D. projects, 14 postdoctoral fellows, and a large number of M. Sc. theses.


Invited Lectures
Since becoming Professor at DTU in 1995, I have been invited speaker at ca. 30 international conferences outside Denmark. I lecture on average 5 times per year at universities and/or companies outside Denmark.
