Personal profile


Caroline holds a Ph.D. in disaster risk management and climate change adaptation from UNEP DTU Partnership and a Master of science in development studies and intercultural business strategy from Copenhagen Business School. Her Ph.D. addressed disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation governance and community responses to urban flood, with a focus on poor peri-urban in Pikine/Dakar, Senegal.

Caroline works as a project manager, researcher and adviser in the Climate Resilient Development group. Her work has revolved around private sector engagement in climate resilience, urban adaptation, mainstreaming of adaptation in sustainable development, national and local governance mechanisms, as well as monitoring and evaluation for climate change adaptation.
