Combustion physics, chemistry and thermodynamics of internal combustion engines, process flames and exhaust gas after treatments systems. Experimental: optical combustion diagnostics, spectroscopy, chromatography, exhaust gas and soot analysis, general engine and vehicle testing. Theoretical: CFD of processes including combustion, soot formation and thermal radiation.
