Alberto Nannarelli er lektor ved Danmarks Tekniske Universitet. Han modtog en grad som elektroingeniør fra universitetet i Rom La Sapienza, Italien i 1988 og modtog MS og PhD graderne i elektro- og computer engineering fra University of California at Irvine, USA i 1995 og 1999 henholdsvis. Han arbejdede for SGS-Thomson Microelectronics og for Ericsson Telecom som design ingeniør og for Rockwell Semiconductor Systems som sommerpraktikant. Fra 1999 til 2003 var han ved afdeling for Electrical Engineering, universitetet i Rom Tor Vergata, Italien som post doc. Hans forskningsinteresser inkluderer computeraritmetik, computerarkitektur og VLSI design.
