Organisation profile

Organisation profile

The scientific fields fall under three main themes: chemical biology; catalysis including synthetic organic chemistry and photochemistry; and NMR spectroscopy.

The Faculty members each have independent research and groups, but are organized completely voluntarily as a “super-group” with weekly common scientific meetings, where practical matters are also discussed. Additionally, the super-group shares common instrumentation. This creates a good synergy and provides a strong scientific base where students and projects in general can draw on wide range of expertise.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. Our work contributes towards the following SDG(s):

  • SDG 2 - Zero Hunger
