The Office for Policy and Relations consists of two units, which assist DTU’s senior management, represent scientific interests in political contexts, and manage relationships to promote a better understanding of the conditions of scientific research.

The office’s tasks include:

  • High-level visits, events and other types of outreach, including academic ceremonies
  • DTU alumni network
  • Art, culture and merchandise
  • Providing assistance to DTU’s Board of Directors, Management, Academic Council, Board of Representatives and College of Rectors, and assisting with elections to DTU’s collegiate bodies and the administration of foundations and awards
  • Research evaluations, doctoral dissertations, DTU’s annual management cycle, annual report and strategic framework contract with the Ministry of Higher Education and Science
  • Contact with politicians in the Danish Parliament.

The office is headed by John Sarborg Pedersen and consists of the following units:
