The NaBIS vision is to develop unique bio-analytical systems utilizing cutting-edge micro/nanotechnology and digitalization. We bridge biology with technology by designing, fabricating and integrating micro- and nanosensors in autonomous systems for biological analysis at the Point-of-Use.

Our systems can be used for e.g. analysis of bacteria cultures, studies of soil-plant root interactions, investigations of signaling molecules in biological processes, monitoring of disease biomarkers in blood, saliva or breath, monitoring of environmental pollutants, culturing of cells and tissue and studying of mechanical properties of tissues as disease indicators.
