Seeing is believing - Nanoscale Imaging of Chemical, Physical and Biological Processes.

We develop new ways to directly observe what is going on in nanoscale processes in physics, chemistry and biology. Our microfabricated chip systems provide controlled experimental conditions in gasses and liquid phase processes, while imaging with electron and optical microscopy.

We have experience in the following areas with links to illustrative publications on the topics: Liquid Phase Processes, Gas Phase Processes, Biology and Nanosafety, Environmental, and Materials.

It is always possible to do a student project tailored to develop your competences.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. Our work contributes towards the following SDG(s):

  • SDG 3 - Good Health and Well-being
  • SDG 7 - Affordable and Clean Energy
  • SDG 13 - Climate Action
