Organisation profile

Our main fields of research are behavioural economics and transport psychology. In both fields. we focus on individual decision-making and empirical methods to investigate preferences and behaviour.

In behavioural economics, we also focus on formal and informal institutions' role in shaping individuals’ behaviour. The main areas of application include investigation of determinants of economic preferences, inequality mechanisms and their consequences on behaviour and welfare.

In transport psychology, we focus on the interaction between humans with the physical and social environment. Main areas of application include mode choice, new transport technologies and services, and vulnerable road users' mobility and safety.

The section features a team of researchers in economics and psychology creating a multidisciplinary approach to investigate human behaviour.
