DTU Entrepreneurship builds entrepreneurial capabilities to benefit people, society and the world.

The Centre is amongst the international leading entities in technology entrepreneurship and helps develop an entrepreneurial culture across DTU. The centre strives to build and develop entrepreneurial culture and capabilities of students, civil society, executives, researchers, and policymakers to create positive social and economic change.

DTU Entrepreneurship focuses on evidence-based research to tackle a wide range of issues and provide opportunities for social and economic change. We put evidence-based research in focus on a wide range of management, pedagogic, and policy issues related to entrepreneurship and innovation. Our research promotes technology-based entrepreneurship by generating, disseminating, and applying knowledge and competencies to education and business development within and beyond DTU. Researchers conduct both conceptual and empirical research using various research methods to create societal impact. The centre covers a wide range of research areas, including corporate entrepreneurship, startup leadership, entrepreneurial psychology and behavior, digitalization, sustainable entrepreneurship, and innovation policy.

Working with policymakers, we deliver expertise and knowledge on everything related to entrepreneurial ecosystems, from technology transfer to entrepreneur burnout, to support them in building robust entrepreneurship policies. Working with external partners, we nurture a university culture for industry collaboration.
