Solid Oxide Cell Electrodes in 3D Symposium

  • Jacob R. Bowen (Organizer)

Activity: Attending an eventParticipating in or organising workshops, courses, seminars etc.

    Description

The symposium summarises the present state of the art of 3D analysis of solid oxide cell electrodes from the techniques of raw data collection, through methods of 3D reconstruction and structural parameter determination to predictive simulations of electrode performance based upon 3D models. This was accomplished with 12 lectures, 10 of which were invited externally from academia and industry from Japan, USA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany and Sweden. The symposium was additionally attended by interested parties from Risø DTU, DTU CEN, Københavns Universitet and Aalborg Universitet. The list of attendees and the details of the invited lectures can be found on the symposium website including slides and video recorded presentations. The symposium functioned as the starting point for the workshop on the following day to outline what can be achieved already today by academics, and by using existing commercial software and instruments.
