Description
Arguably the complexity of buildings are reflected in the complexity of the performative analysis of buildings. Energy analysis, thermal analysis, Life Cycle Analysis, structural analysis etc. are all affected by increasing complexity of buildings. Based on case studies (BIG, Action Sustainability, ?) we show that inherently it is not complexity of the buildings themselves, but the changes of building design, key parameters and elusive goals that makes building performance analyses hard and expensive to perform. Based on these challenges, we show a way to simply structure necessary components for analysis, how tooling can assist in a) gather concrete information / data, b) generate / transform information to specific needs. We present a git-like procedural process to ensure automatic delivery of input data for a controlled analysis feedback loop.
