Description

In an age of information overload and social fragmentation, what can we do to ensure that our communities sustain care, cooperation, and meaning? In this interdisciplinary panel, Tiff Mak, Peter Varga, and Alin Stan will explore how different types of communities can create spaces for knowledge creation, sharing, and holding.

We will reflect on what knowledge-making means across disciplines, and how artistic practices can help translate complex emotional ideas into shared understandings — and how such practices can contribute to building more resilient, and adaptable communities in times of crisis.

We will also explore ways in which we can look toward the future whilst staying situated in the present, asking questions about what kinds of communities do we need, and what practices might help us build more intentional, connected, and caring spaces together?
