Active participation as rapporteur for the Source Attribution Task Force.This formal meeting of the Source Attribution Tasf Force was held in Atlanta, USA, with focus on the production of a position paper regarding major routes of transmission and discussing ways to evaluate, integrate and apply the different existing approaches used for Source Attribution and Expert Elicitation (EE) in the context of the Global Burden of Disease Studies.
The meeting was comprised by plenary presentations and discussions, allowing moments for the group to discuss internal subjects, and also joint moments of integration and wider discussion with the Country Studies Task Force and its Policy Subgroup.
As a result, the group produced a) the draft Terms of Reference for EE, b) a draft for the position paper on transmission routes and c) proposed a review of existing EE study protocols, in order to, along with a list of priority hazards to be defined by the Enteric, Parasitic and Chemical Task Forces, better define and conclude on a study design for conduction of EE methods in the National and Global Burden of Disease Studies.
