This panel will discuss how Europe can secure reliable access to green energy to remain competitive and build a sustainable future. One thing is clear: no country can do it alone.

Real progress depends on cross-border cooperation. Denmark and Germany are uniquely positioned to lead the way, both by harnessing North Sea wind power and by building a hydrogen pipeline from Denmark to Germany that could provide green energy to the whole of Europe. With Berlin Science Week coinciding with the upcoming COP29, the timing is perfect to move the conversation on green transitions forward.
