Description

I led a training course in Oxford Nanopore Technology sequencing and data analysis. The course included introduction to the technology and theory, library preparation for multiplexing 12 samples using the Rapid Barcoding Kit 96 (SQK-RBK110.96) kit and flow cell loading and how to troubleshoot runs monitoring the MinKNOW interface. After sequencing, we discussed how to quality control and analyse sequencing data. Participants assembled and identified AMR genes in their generated data.
