Description

How can we maintain and improve cognitive health as we age? How can we find those most at risk and provide targeted prevention? CACHET members and PhD students Jonas Isaksen and Alix Feldman provided early insights to these questions as they shared their research with a full audience at the Welfare Innovation department at the Municipality of Copenhagen. They presented to people working in the areas of technology, innovation and citizen health and wellbeing. The ambition of the projects from both Jonas Isaksen and Alix Feldman will help the city of Copenhagen address its growing ageing population using new technology and a closer look at cognitive function and early risk factor identification for dementia. Jonas focuses on early prediction of dementia using ECG and genetics, and Alix investigates the integration of hearing care technology into the cognitive healthcare system. Thank you to the organisers and presenters for the opportunity to co-create the research in this promising field. We look forward to collaborating further in the investigation of new technologies and cognitive health interventions.
