Geometry optimization through surface perforation using particle repulsion based on scalar fields and principal stress lines

Activity: Examinations and supervisionSupervisor activities

Description

How can we effectively optimize complex geometric structures by perforating their surfaces with particles that repel each other, while leveraging scalar fields and principal stress lines? And how can this integrated approach be applied to create aesthetically pleasing and structurally sustainable perforation patterns? This project aims to explore and implement an approach to geometric optimization through an in-depth analysis of particle repulsion, scalar fields, and principal stress lines on complex polygon meshes.
