Description
This presentation provided the implementing partner's insights on the SeqAfrica Project and an introduction to the SeqAsia project. Presenter Christa Twyford-Gibson explained the genomics capacity-strengthening activities and goals of the first two phases of the SeqAfrica Project. The project facilitated training and education, generation of sequence data, and IT infrastructure expansion. It also aimed to increase interdisciplinary collaboration and coordination between stakeholders. Twyford-Gibson highlighted strengths of the project as well as challenges to implementation, and lessons learned. She also introduced the SeqAsia project, giving attendees an overview of WGS capacity strengthening activities in South and Southeast Asia.| Period | 19 Nov 2024 |
