At this section it was discussed different aspects related to Food Safety Management such as the link between predictive models and risk assessment (Maarten Nauta,Denmark), the principles of risk-based food safety management (Bob Buchanan, USA), the importance of QRA and the effectiveness of sampling plans (Marcel Zwietering, Netherlands), the relation between QRA and Food Safety Metrics (Tom Ross, Australia), as well as the pathway from QRA studies to human health protection (Bob Buchanan, USA), and from QRA studies to food regulation (Kostas Koutsoumanis, Greece).
