    Activity: Talks and presentationsConference presentations

    Description

Large-scale floating vertical axis wind turbines have great potential for offshore applications. This presentation will review recent developments for generating torque and controlling vertical-axis wind turbines (VAWTs) specifically for floating
applications. The phenomena presented include dynamic stall and pitching of the blades, as well as design of airfoils for VAWT
    applications.
