Activity: Talks and presentationsTalks and presentations in private or public companies and organisations

Description

In 1820, the Dane Hans Christian Ørsted found that an electric current could move a magnetic needle. In this talk, I will explain why Ørsted most likely was unsurprised by this effect. I will also discuss, that the person Ørsted was not the only important actor in these developments. Many actors, both human and non-human, played a part.
