Frequency unlimited optical delay lines based on slow and fast light in SOAs

We experimentally demonstrate that up-converted coherent population oscillations
(CPO) in SOA open the possibility to conceive integrated optical tunable delay lines beyond the
carrier lifetime limit, up to THz frequencies.
