Electrically tunable bandpass filter based on liquid crystal photonic bandgap fibers
Publication: Research - peer-review › Article in proceedings – Annual report year: 2010
An electrically tunable bandpass filter based on two photonic crystal fibers filled with different liquid crystals is demonstrated. Both the short-wavelength and long-wavelength edge are tuned individually or simultaneously with the response time in milliseconds.
