The main focus in the project is on medical innovations and factors affacting innovative activity in the health care industry. Especially the project will study the effects from financing systems on development of medical technologies. Empirical the project will study development in hearing aids technology and vision technology. First of all in a Danish context but also with references to US and possibly Switzerland. Theoretical inspiration will be taken from economics of technical innovation and economics of health.
